Sam “Mecha” Taylor has been developing ultra high-performance titanium alloy swords, machetes, and other blades since 2013.

The endeavor has resulted in unique processes, work techniques, and a heat treatment regimen for appropriate titanium alloys that makes a very potent blade unlike anything else on the planet.

It has produced a collection of forged titanium alloy blades that are strewn across the world.

More recently, these skills have been applied to making rings out of titanium from the SR-71 Blackbird and other intense historical aircraft.

Mecha is an Air Force veteran with the 16th Special Operations Wing who holds a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in History, with extra attention paid to mythology, legends, and folklore. Once upon a time a part-time commercial salmon fisherman, he is an experienced journalist and PA, martial artist, and Siamese cat expert who also likes dogs.
