Battle of the Nations
Titanium alloy weapons have been made for the United States’ Battle of the nations team, and used in worldwide tournaments. BotN fields huge armored groups in chaotic melee combat, on down to individual duels. Pictured is a custom fausart polearm head used in these tournaments by combatants.
Feders, or “feather swords,” have a long history, originating around 600 years ago in Europe. They were designed for full-power sparring in fencing schools. Today, they’re used by Historic European Martial Arts practitioners for swordplay and in tournaments. Shown here is an experimental pair of titanium alloy feders, beloved by the HEMA school that commissioned them. Mecha intends to perfect the titanium alloy feder and offer them individually and in pairs.
Buhurt is intense full-contact armored combat, based on medieval tournaments. Pictured is a longsword custom-forged to fit within the weight and size parameters required in Buhurt leagues. With perfect balance, it is mere grams above the minimum weight requirement while being physically much larger than a steel sword of its mass. Its thick titanium cross-guard is invincible.
